A Profile-raising Interview for Faux Jean

And a faux interview with Bob Dylan

Last week as I was putting the finishing touches on the newsletter, my daughter approached and demanded that I sit for an interview with her.

I obliged and today I share that interview here.

In the bandcamp player below is the song I mention in the first minute of the interview as one of the first songs Faux Jean played, and this is the “mascochism demo” of the “Flight of the Bumblebee,” which is being added to the “Mixed Up Files” album today:

It seems fair that she wanted to interview me, as I used to always interview her and her brother under the guise of Cameron the Camel.

It was a wonderful way to get information out of them, because they really seemed to think they were confiding in Cameron the Camel, and not their dad.

In keeping with the interview theme today, I am including a fake interview I did with Bob Dylan, who actually grew up a few blocks away from me in Duluth, Minnesota, though he was there earlier than I was.

This interview was done in the style of Dickie Goodman for an assignment I completed while at MATC, under the tutleage of Todd Bowie.
