Faux Summer Lovers,
I am back in my hometown of Duluth, Minnesota for a week of rest and relaxation.
I did manage to eke out a jam on the “Mixed Up Files” album series today, which one could listen to in the player below:
I recorded this jazzy little improv last week, accompanied by the birds in my backyard.
The working title for this song idea in the voice memo app was “G Minor Jazzprov,” but “Post 4th Throwaway” seems fitting, somehow.
Now I gotta get my kids out of bed and get ‘em fed so we can trek to Northern Wisconsin for a day of breathing in some of the best air America has to offer.
I’ll be back reporting from close to the border of Mexico next week.
